FlashWWW
Flash-WWW is a web browser application designed to leaf through and search for the wires in the agency wire base. This application uses the same data sources as Flash-2001, or RunPlanner (the same agency wire database).
Flash-WWW was designed to enable the use of the agency wire database with the help of Internet browser through the corporate net (the Intranet), or through the Internet from any place.
Flash-WWW is composed of several program modules, which are installed in the application server environment. These modules are responsible for reading the data from the database, displaying the data at the client's workstation and the authorization of the users. The modules are developed as Java servlets and Java applets, which makes it possible to install the application on different system platforms. The recommended activation environment for the modules is the Tomcat server.
A user of the system can search the wires according to various criteria, such as key words, categories, services, domains, agencies, dates, as well as search through the entire text of the wire. There is also a possibility to mix and match the criteria.
